Broadcom Bluetooth Driver, Version 6.3.0.6300 for Microsoft® Windows® 7

Nov 26, 2016  ok so Wednesday i went to best buy and bought a pair of Sony MDR-XB950BT bluetooth headphones, i can pair them with my PC fine but there's no sound, i've set them to my default sound device, still nothing. I also ran a driver scan on my computer and it said that the driver called Realtek bluetooth. Restart your PC and the wireless display or adapter. To remove the device, select Start Settings Devices Bluetooth & other devices. Under Projectors, select the wireless display or adapter, then select Remove device Yes. Try reconnecting. Go to the Desktop screen by pressing the Windows logo key + D. Press the Windows key +X on the keyboard when you are at Desktop. Select Device Manager. Look for Bluetooth devices. Double click on Bluetooth driver and select Uninstall. After the Bluetooth driver is uninstalled, restart the PC. Windows 10 will reinstall the Bluetooth Driver.

This utility will install the originally shipped version of the Broadcom Bluetooth Driver for the Sony VAIO® computers listed below.

Found that it would not load the 'on board' bluetooth at all. Windcom no help either with what they call their windows 10 driver.
• If you recently upgraded to Windows 10 or installed Windows 10 updates, the current driver may have been designed for an earlier version of Windows. To automatically check for driver updates: In the search box on the taskbar, search for Device Manager, and then select Device Manager from the list of results.

Please read this if you are installing a clean version of Windows 7 64-bit Edition

• You must connect the Power Media Dock (docking station) to your notebook when installing the 64-bit driver “AMD Radeon HD6650M & Intel Mobile HD graphics”. This driver won’t install if the Power Media Dock is not connected. Note that the driver “AMD Radeon HD6650M & Intel Mobile HD graphics” is a hybrid graphics driver for both the AMD and Intel graphics adapters. If you have purchased a VAIO VPCZ21 notebook series without the Power Media Dock, please install the standalone 64-bit driver “Intel Mobile HD graphics”.
• You must install “ALL” drivers and utilities labelled 64-bit or 32/64-bit that are available in the Preinstalled download section of your model. Failure to install “ALL” drivers and utilities may cause some features (for e.g.: Fn-hotkeys, etc.) not to operate properly.

1. Download the BRDBLT-00249578-0042.exe file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Right-click the file downloaded in previous step and choose 'Extract All'.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to extract the compressed file.
4. Double-click the BRDBLT-00249578-0042.EXE file to begin the installation.
5. At “User Account Control”, click “Yes”
6. If the “Select Language” window appears, select the language you wish to use and click the “OK” button.
7. At “Select Country” please select the country you want for this installation and click “Next”
8. At the 'Welcome to Broadcom Bluetooth Driver Setup Program' , click “Next”.
9. Read the Software License Agreement and click 'I Agree'.
10. At the 'Finished' screen, click Finish.
11. At the “This system must be restarted to complete the installation” screen, click the “OK” button to restart the system.
